Cute (and cheap!) colorful wall mosaic

After that email and more surfing of the web, I think I’m going to have to go with the Toyota Van Wagon. Although not as cute (pretty ugly actually) as the VWs, they really are the most reliable thing to get around in…especially if that means driving through the Americas. Who knows, maybe I can give this car some soul and turn it into a sweet campervan. Now I just have to find one out there.
Hi, I’ve been looking for a RAV4 or CRV—highly reliable vehicles, saw your ad and noticed you’re looking to buy a VW bus or another Toyota. I sold my second bus last summer, it was a Eurovan camper, before that a Vanagon. I’m in the process of selling my Beetle now. Can I just say, go with the Toyota!!! VW’s are adorable and great campermobiles, but extrememly high maintainance!!! Why else would there be clubs devoted to keeping them on the road (Vanagon.com), with networks of people you can call when travelling—because they break down all the time. I did a ‘round the country in my Vanagon and my whole trip log was about my breakdowns—I did meet some great people though :) Good luck (and please think twice!)
vwvagabonds.com also made a section for things that did and didn’t work for them on their trip. Includes stuff like tires and stoves that worked best for them, and shoes that don’t cut it.
